Services - During the Coronavirus Pandemic, many of the services listed below are suspended. Please see 'home' page for updates.
All are welcome at any of the services of worship.
Sunday morning worship at 10.30 am is the focal point of our life together at Guiseley Methodist Church. A crèche is available catering for children up to 4years old. Junior Church for children over 4years meets on Sunday mornings (see below).
The Sunday evening service at 6.00 pm is often quieter and more reflective in style. On the second Sunday of each month there is a joint Circuit Service - see the Circuit plan for details. We also worship with the members of St Oswald's Church and Guiseley Baptist Church at each church alternately. There are services with other partner churches of Aireborough Churches Together (ACT).
Holy Communion is held once a month at 9.00am (usually the second Sunday), 10.30am (last Sunday), 6.00pm (third Sunday). The Methodist Church has an 'Open Table' where all who love The Lord Jesus are welcome. See the plan or weekly notices for actual dates.
Junior Church groups meet on Sunday mornings at 10.30 am as part of morning worship, sharing part of the service with the church family and part of the service worshipping in their own groups.
'Come and be....together' is worship for all the family, from the very youngest with no upper age limit! See the church notices and the 'home' page for details.
All-age Family Worship is normally held on the second Sunday of each month and takes the form of a 'Parade Service' when our uniformed organisations, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts join us.
A Service of Prayer and Meditation is held on Tuesday mornings at 9.30 am. during school term time.
Special services to mark the highlights of the Church calendar are a part of our morning and evening worship at Easter, Harvest, Advent & Christmas.
Primrose Court (Anchor Homes):
Once a month we join the residents of Primrose Court for a Sunday afternoon service at 2.30 pm.
See the weekly notice sheet for details of the next service.
